The Life Science Women's Conference, co-founded by Patti Rossman and Steve Fiske, is an unparalleled opportunity for women to accelerate their careers in the life science field through mentoring, networking, and education. As president of the life sciences consulting firm, Globiox, headquartered in Austin, Texas, Patti knows the importance of women taking leadership roles in life sciences, thus creating the concept behind The Life Science Women's Conference.

The conference will span two days at the Austin Convention Center which is located in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas. Austin is known for its traditional warm Texas charm and its progressive attitude, making it an ideal host city.

Cherie started her career in the field of Computer Engineering specializing in Research and Development as well as Failure Analysis with special task force projects for NASA with IBM in Burlington Vermont. After her career with IBM, Cherie followed her passion for education and taught Physical Education for eighteen years while raising their two children. While teaching, Cherie proudly co-pioneered The First Tee National School Program which started with forty-eight students and has been instrumental in reaching over 10 million young people for The First Tee organization throughout the USA.Cherie is a nineteen-year breast cancer survivor and to turn a bad thing into a good thing for others she is the Founder and CEO of an Austin, Texas-based company that has won many Innovative Awards and has been nationally and internationally recognized. The name of her company is named Healincomfort, appropriately named because from personal experience it was the last thing that occurred. Healincomfort is dedicated to helping women heal in comfort and dignity after mastectomy surgery in their battle against breast cancer with her patented and innovative post-operative garment. Cherie chose to bootstrap her business as a social experiment with one thousand dollars to learn if people still believed in a good product and whether it was possible to grow a business organically and by word of mouth. Healincomfort recovery garment holds two USA patents, one global patent-pending, four USA Trademarks and has thousands of Twitter followers. Healincomfort was first created to help 100 local Austin, Texas patients, which has turned into helping over thirty-five thousand patients throughout the USA. Recent awards and recognition include the 2018 Global Woman Inspirational Award, 2016 Austin Woman Magazine Woman's Way Award for Product Innovation. Healincomfort was one of the fifteen SBA National finalists for the 2015 InnovateHER business pitch competition in Washington, DC, winner of the 2015 Texas Women In Business Philanthropy and winner of the 2014 Award and Austin Woman Chamber of Commerce Blazing Star Award. Healincomfort was a Certified Woman-Owned Business with WBENC, WOSB, HUB and nationally recognized as a WBENC Lillie Knox Foundation Award winner. Cherie is an active member of Amazing Women Alliance, Texas Women in Business. An international speaker in London England for “Undefeeted” -Achieve the Impossible. Recently Cherie has been active in angel investing in Women-Owned Businesses and startups such as Miraculum, On The Dot Woman, Cars Her Way, and Economic Transformation Technologies. Cherie also serves as an advisor and partner for Envision ELI Technology and has incorporated ELI technology into her Healincomfort Recovery Shirt line that offers innovation and the most powerful cancer-based platforms in the world within a one-second scan.Cherie was the co-founder, advisor and Certified Master National Trainer for The First Tee National School Program who trained and certified Physical Education teachers across the United States to implement the National School Program and it's 9 Core Values and 9 Healthy Habits. Cherie also proudly served on the board of The First Tee of Greater Austin for ten years, which provides a safe and educational place for children to get them off the streets and onto green grass. In her spare time (hah!), Cherie enjoys playing golf and riding BMW motorcycles all over the world and most recently throughout Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, and Scotland. She rides her sportbike BMW S1000RR on COTA -Formula One Track with her husband Adam on track days. She and her husband who is the Division Vice President for Waste Connections, a three-time Ironman and three-time Boston Marathon qualifier. Cherie and Adam have two amazing children, Ashley and Adam, who also live in Austin TX along with their two rescue dogs, Abby and Bear."

Patti Rossman is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and the Software Quality Institute in the Department of Engineering, University of Texas at Austin. She is a Certified Software Quality Engineer (ASQ). One of her current projects is spurring the conversation for gender diversity in the Life Science industry through the Life Science Women’s Conference.Her progressive and visionary thinking compelled her to create the Life Science Women’s Conference, held annually in Tampa, Florida. “By every industry statistic and reality, women are woefully under-represented in the Life Sciences,” says Patti. “The Life Science Women’s Conference will encourage more women to make a long-term career in the Life Sciences and provide an environment where they will make those contacts essential for networking, mentorship and career development."
Frandale Johnson is the Principal Consultant for McCoy Consulting Group. Prior to founding McCoy, Frandale thrived in helping companies fully recognize their vision in the life science and medical device industries for well over 20 years. Through her work with Clarkston Consulting, Raytheon, and Parexel Consulting, she became recognized as an industry leader by providing quality, validation and regulatory subject matter expertise for top domestic and global life science organizations. Frandale is valued for developing industrious approaches to helping teams put quality first while increasing operational efficiency, managing change proactively, reducing business disruption and facilitating rapid return on new technology through proven best practice methodologies. She has a proven ability to identify and troubleshoot critical issues.While participating in mentorship programs, Frandale has had the privilege of pursuing her personal passions of helping young women and teens realize their dream and potential. She gives back to the Houston community through her STEM GRL initiative which helps develop talents and fosters a supportive safe space for young people interested in careers in STEM. In addition, Frandale is an active member in the Houston American Society for Quality (ASQ) chapter, The Women’s Home which serves to strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability post abuse and substance recovery as well as many other organizations dedicated to serving women. Frandale holds a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
Renee Morley is a Senior Technical Services Specialist for Contec, Inc. providing expertise and evaluation regarding industry best-practices and technical applications of disinfectants solutions, wipers, and mops for use in cleanroom and other controlled environments. She has over fourteen years of experience leading training on contamination control in cleanrooms and providing technical support related to critical environments, process research cleaners, and cleaning validation. Ms. Morley is a valuable resource in the areas of site evaluations, training and technical presentations, and educational seminars. Ms. Morley was President of the Parenteral Drug Association’s Southeast Chapter (PDASE) from 2016-2019 and held other various positions within the organization including the Networking Chair. In 2018, Renee was the PDA Volunteer Spotlight which PDA awards to active volunteers in the organization. This is Renee’s second time being part of the Life Sciences Women’s Conference as she spoke in 2018 where she held a Workshop on Networking. She received an MBA from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, and a BA in Marketing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Sarah Kitlowski, MBA, is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Omeza, LLC. Sarah plans, designs and manages execution of Omeza’s operations and go-to-market strategy, ensuring that innovative wound care products are made known and available to key patient and consumer populations. Having first joined Omeza as Director of Sales & Marketing, Sarah has leveraged key partnerships and capital resources to bring the Omeza product line from prototype to launch. Prior to joining Omeza, Sarah managed customer and store systems projects for Bealls, Inc as a Business Architect and Senior Analyst. Prior to Bealls, Sarah held marketing and technology positions with Helicopter Marketing, WelchmanPierpoint Consulting, and MET Laboratories. She earned her MBA from University of South Florida, as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (international honor society) and the Paul Webecke Award Winner. Her undergraduate degree, a BS in Philosophy, was earned from Towson University in Baltimore, MD. She is passionate about end user experience, value-based market offerings, and strategic integrity, and ensures that Omeza continually makes philanthropy a key priority.
Lori Harvey is an accomplished senior level professional with demonstrated expertise in leading change, leading people, managing teams, building collaborations and is results driven. She is a dedicated thought leader for effective outcomes with experience in helping organizations and companies translate goals into reality in the areas of STEM education, workforce development, and diversity. As the manager of Hitachi’s Inspire STEM Educational Outreach and CSR Programs with Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., Ms. Harvey’s role is to develop globalization of the educational outreach program by defining partnerships and collaborations among industry, educators and policy makers. As a Senior Program Manager of Education, Outreach and Workforce Development with Pennsylvania State University, Ms. Harvey collaborated with many entities to contribute to developing a STEM / Workforce Development ecosystem for global competitiveness. Ms. Harvey is the co-founder of Female Alliance for STEM Excellence (FASE) and participates in many state and national advisory boards. She is involved in various non-profits and start-up companies. She holds a BA in Pre-Law/English from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, PA.
